- Albanian citizen;

- Prior experience working for Albanian security organisations or in an international environment is considered be an advantage.

Our Social Media Manager will lead and manage the social media strategy for the project, increase awareness and enhance the reputation of Job In Albania. Our Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with the team and support strategic initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Under project director guidance and coordination, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for the content development and daily updates for all Job In Albania social media platforms. S/he shall perform the following duties: 1) S/he will be responsible for Job In Albania social media for Macedonia and Montenegro offers, further content development: optimize, grow and maintain the platforms: Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and further YouTube ... 2) S/he will develop and maintain positive working relationships, and the ability to handle work in a professional and confidential manner. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, new media, or public relations - Experience in social media content development and adequate knowledge on social media functioning and management. - English and Albanian. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Media monitoring: Collect and disseminate news articles published in national, regional, international dailies and periodicals that pertain to refugee related issues and the work of the office.
2. Social media management: With an aim to maintain regular information flow, produce interactive bi-lingual social media posts (info-graphs, animations, and videos) for a wide range of target audience, including general people, policy makers, donors, and people of concerns to UNHCR. Keep abreast of social media activities of relevant entities including the office of UN Resident Coordinator, other UN Agencies, EU Delegation, NGOs, etc and repost in consultation with the External Relations unit.
3. Media relations: With an aim to establish and maintain strong relationship with the national media, compile and maintain the mailing list for timely dissemination of press releases, information bulletins, etc to media and other interested parties.
4. Custody of PI materials: Maintain adequate stock of PI and communications materials and maintain up-to-date the catalogue/inventory of PI and communications material.
5. Event management: Subject to COVID-19 related restrictions, provide assistance to organize PI events such as poster campaigns, exhibitions, and public awareness raising events.
6. External communication: In consultation with the External Relations unit, respond to routine telephone and written enquiries from a variety of sources such as the media, the public, NGOs, etc.
7. Other relevant activities: Maintain PI files up-to-date, explore UNHCR's communication systems, support the office with informal translations of various communications and other documents, as needed, in English and/or Albanian and perform any other related tasks as required.

Language Requirements
Fluency in written and spoken English and in Albanian.
