First-level university degree in international studies, public policy, political science or law or related fields;

Selection Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

University degree

At least 5 years of proven job-related experience in communications, preferably in the international and multi-cultural environment;

The candidate should:

have experience in communications and public diplomacy, including strategic communication, media relations and social media management.

have excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain constructive working relations both within and outside the Delegation, creating a network of contacts;

have strong drafting and analytical skills combined with sound judgement, rapid grasp of problems and the capacity to identify issues and solutions;

have knowledge of external relations, internal policies and functioning of the European Union;

have the ability to communicate clearly on complex issues and the capacity to perform with accuracy and in a flexible manner a diversity of tasks in a complex institutional environment;

have solid knowledge of social media analytics, SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.

Experience of working in a team in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment would be considered a strong asset.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), Mission in Albania, in the framework of the programme “Engage the Albanian Diaspora to the Social and Economic Development of Albania”, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, through this Call for Proposal, wants to promote and fund concrete actions of Albanian Diaspora Associations (ADA), including those of Arbëresh community, or Italian associations in which Albanian diaspora individuals are part of that have a key role in the regions of Lombardy & Emilia Romagna in Italy. These actions will be implemented at local/ regional level in three pilot regions of Albania : Shkodra, Vlora and Gjirokastra.

The request for clarification(s) must be sent by standard electronic means and submitted to IOM at the e-mail address: at least [seven (7) calendar days (23 June 2020 at 17:00) before the set deadline for the submission and receipt of Proposals.
