Our Social Media Manager will lead and manage the social media strategy for the project, increase awareness and enhance the reputation of Job In Albania. Our Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with the team and support strategic initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Under project director guidance and coordination, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for the content development and daily updates for all Job In Albania social media platforms. S/he shall perform the following duties: 1) S/he will be responsible for Job In Albania social media for Macedonia and Montenegro offers, further content development: optimize, grow and maintain the platforms: Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and further YouTube ... 2) S/he will develop and maintain positive working relationships, and the ability to handle work in a professional and confidential manner. Duties and Responsibilities

Under the overall supervision of the Programme Specialist/Head of Programme Unit, and the direct supervision of the UN Women EU4GE Project Manager, the senior national expert is responsible for performing the below key functions:

  • Undertake a brief scan/review of the current state of the Charter among municipalities in Albania;
  • In line with the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) Guidance on the Charter implementation process, facilitate the synthesizing of gender-responsive elements and activities, alignment with the European Charter, and drafting the individual Local Gender Action Plan for 5 Municipalities (to be identified as per requirements outlined in the project document)including structuring, prioritisation, responsibilities, indicators, budget, timeline, and partners;
  • Review and undertake quality control of the final Local Gender Action Plans;
  • Provide technical support, guidance and advice to municipal staff for introducing, applying and promoting gender-responsive governance tools and methods in partner municipalities;
  • Engage in coaching and mentoring of Gender Equality Officers (GEOs) on gender mainstreaming and on outreach to administrative units;
  • Provide input and advice for peer-to-peer networking and exchange in partner municipalities in Albania and in the region, including for identification of relevant collaboration;
  • Contribute to preparing communication materials on core gender and local governance issues; and to making them available to the local administration and the wider public;
  • Facilitate timely follow-up on procedural steps related to the Charter;

  • Deliver the TOT of the methodology on the preschool curriculum to the AAQPUE staff, preschool teachers and headmasters, and other education stakeholders in Albania. Conduct skype calls with the education representatives at central and local level as well as other actors involved in education to provide technical inputs for the development of the methodology.
  • Organize an online workshop with AAQPUE members and local government members to provide guidance on the format/content of the training.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one-year experience warehouse worker, and/or labor experience is required. Experience in moving/lifting heavy items such as furniture. Experience in inventory control/identification and distribution. Experience in warehouse safety and inventory stalking/safety procedures.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: General knowledge of Embassy building and offices. Good knowledge of essential storage practices and supply procedures. Safe lifting procedures.

Under the overall supervision of the UN Women CO Albania Representative and the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist/Head of Programme Unit, the Project Manager will perform the below key functions in close coordination with UNFPA and the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO).

  • Manage the day-to-day implementation of the UN Joint Programme
  • Manage capacity and financial resources of the UNJP
  • Manage results-based monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the UNJP
  • Provide substantive inputs to advocacy, knowledge building and communication efforts for the UNJP
  • Build partnerships and contribute to inter-agency coordination on Gender Equality.
